Whilst it is fair to say that within the Stagcircle individuals are free to develop and enjoy their own perceptions, it is also encouraging and helpful when the individual's thoughts are catalogued as a book of record.

Contrary to many ideas or beliefs about the circle, it's not all about jumping around with antlers on one's head, banging drums and shouting the verse of creation.
There is much more involved, and it would take books to cover the whole journey, but there are a few things I can share in a hope to satisfy curiosity, or even encourage people to take a closer look to discover more for themselves...

RELIGION
Is the Stag Circle religious?
The Stag Circle is spiritual. Its foundation has to go back to a time when the most important truths were being realized and were becoming the driving force behind human evolution.

With spiritual realisation of forces that were superior or even inferior to the human race a quest was set to discover, investigate and develop an understanding with these forces. Over the years, as the race progressed, so many elaborate systems and colourful ceremonies were developed, that in my mind were a fine example of imagination but also how in ways very misleading.

OK! So, what is the foundation that constitutes a religion?
Perhaps its the existence of other life forms known as spirits, or beings of intelligence whether superior or less superior to our own.
A respect for other life-form on the planet we live and a respect for the planet itself.
It is of no surprise that so many people are attempting to reconnect with the planet and its nature, we have been starved of this connection over the decades and now as evil seeks to destroy its very physical being we are hopefully waking to the old religion and seeking to embrace nature in whichever way we can.
Forming a relationship with earth bound spirits and seeking divine guidance in our path, learning to manipulate the natural energys so that we are able to manifest within our consciousness a power of thought that will interact with the greater consciousness of this beautiful planet.
This is not a new age dream, this is an ancient way of life, an ancient philosophy that was once understood as being natural to those distant people.
Yes, we have a spirituality and we have a quest, a goal, and there is a need to act.
To walk with nature is great but not enough - not if we wish to divert this earth from the evil that devours it and set a future for our children's children...

Peace.
