Sam Edwards and Camp Kenya 2010
In summer 2010 I will be travelling to Kenya as part of a four-week expedition. I will be travelling to Kenya with The Thomas Hardye School and Camps International to undergo and take part in community work in small villages in the country. I will be based in southwest Kenya where we will stay in four or five small villages throughout the four weeks.
Whilst on this trip I will be involved with…
- Conservation work within the Tsavo game reserve
- Marine conservation on the coast of Kenya
- Building and Maintenance of Village Schools
- Assisting with teaching in village classes
- Spending time with the Masai and Digo tribes people.
This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to do some good in the world and help disadvantaged people to have a better way of life.
The cost for this trip is £3370 although I am hoping to be able to raise most of this myself through my jobs (I have two!) we are also expected to raise money by other means. I am asking you to help me on my campaign to Kenya by donating money, big or small to help me on my way.
